We want you to shop with confidence at Schulman's Home. This Returns Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

Return Period for Non-Faulty / Unwanted Items

• 30 calendar days from delivery or collection date
• Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition
• Original packaging, labels and tags must be intact
• Proof of purchase is required

How to Return an Item

• In-store: Drop off at any Schulman's Home branch
• Courier: Contact us to arrange collection or shipping
• Return courier costs are the customer's responsibility for non-faulty items

We recommend using a trackable courier service. Schulman's Home is not responsible for items lost in transit.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

• Report within 7 days of receiving your order
• Collection arranged at our cost
• Choice of repair, replacement, or refund

All defective goods are handled in line with your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Refund Method & Timing

• In-store: processed immediately
• Courier returns: processed within 7 business days after inspection
• Card refunds: may take 5–7 additional business days depending on your bank
• Courier costs refunded only for faulty or incorrect items

Return Conditions

• Unused and resalable condition
• No stains, odours, or damage
• All accessories, manuals and packaging included
• Tags must remain attached

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

• Hygiene or personal-use products
• Clearance or final sale items
• Customised or personalised products

Inspection & Approval

All returned products are inspected upon receipt. We reserve the right to refuse a return or issue a partial refund where items show signs of use, damage, or missing components.

Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If your requested item is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be offered.
